Everett's Music Barn has been a fixture on the
Bluegrass Scene for over 40 years.
Open Every Saturday night,
you can find the best talent in the bluegrass world picking in the
Barn. From national touring bands like Dailey & Vincent, Larry Sparks,
Steep Canyon Rangers, The Grascals, Kenny and Amanda Smith, Chapmans,
Claire Lynch, NewFound Road, Grasstowne, Donna Hughes, David Davis,
David Peterson, Larry Stephenson and Honi Deaton and Dream to
unbelievably talented local bands you will always be glad you came out
to the Barn!
Show starts at 8:00pm with The Everett
Family
Band followed by a national act or the best in local talent. Family
oriented, no smoking or drinking is allowed, so bring the kids. Make
sure to visit in the Everett's Home to see and hear pickers from
beginners to professionals learning how to play Bluegrass from each
other.
Bring your instrument and join in the fun. You're
always welcome! Many, many professionals have gotten their start right
in the Everett's House which predates the Barn by several years. Ray
Deaton, Russell Moore, Doyle Lawson, Scott Vestal, Alan Bibey, Wayne
Benson, and many others count themselves among the members of the
Everett alumni.
We all owe a debt of gratitude to Randall and
Roger Everett for their pioneering work in establishing a truly
historical location for the growth and blossoming of good Bluegrass
music.
The Music Barn re-opened under new ownership April 16, 2011, after a 5 month
hiatus.
Come on out to the Barn! We're looking forward to
meeting you!
